My name is Alina, I am a makeup artist based in Galway. I have loved art ever since I was a little girl. Makeup and beauty have always made me feel creative and inspired. I began taking makeup artistry seriously as a career in 2019 when I completed my ITEC Certificate in makeup artistry and continued to improve my skills by attending pro makeup artist masterclasses and workshops.
Through makeup, my aim is to help other people feel beautiful inside and out. I love knowing that by accentuating someone's outer beauty, I can help to bring out the confidence within them.

Every session includes full makeup for you in an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere. If you want to share this service with someone special in your life, my larger package include makeup for an additional person, so whether you want to share the service with your Mum or your best friend, it will be an experience you will never forget.
The bridal package includes trial makeup with premium products, individual lashes and a professional-grade application from an ITEC certified MUA.

My event makeup service will turn your next special occasion into a day you will never forget. Enjoy the luxury of a professional MUA application (including individual lashes) from the comfort of your own location and make the getting ready process an event in itself. Whatever event you have planned, I'll create the perfect look for you based on the event, your skin tone, features, and personal preferences, so all you have to do is pick out your outfit, and you're ready to go!
Hairstyle can be arranged for an additional €50 fee. This price does not include complex hairstyles.
All products used are from premium cosmetic and hairstyling brands only and are applied by an ITEC-certified MUA.

My personalised one-to-one makeup lessons will equip you with everything you need to discover how to make your makeup work in the best way for you and solve all your beauty dilemmas.
As this is a private lesson, there is no focus on any particular brand or pressure to make a purchase. Instead, learn professional techniques using the products that you love and skills that you can take with you on your makeup journey. Most importantly, these lessons are fun, relaxed, and designed with you in mind.
All sessions are taught by an ITEC certified MUA and cater specifically to your needs and preferences.

Yes absolutely! I suggest you begin looking through Pinterest or other social media outlets and find several make-up photos that you like.
On your bridal trial, I will create a look based on what you like that will fit you, and help you create the look you are hoping to achieve, from dramatic to soft glam to natural.
I'll also help you identify and accentuate your most flattering features to reveal your natural beauty. It can be daunting trying to find a look that you want, but I promise the process will be painless.

I do offer bridal trials, and I strongly recommend adding them to your bridal package! During the trial, we will discuss and sample out the makeup style you've chosen and tweak it to fit you, and make any changes if necessary.
With trials, it will also allow you to wear the makeup for the day and see how it feels and holds up in preparation for your wedding day. Then come the day of your wedding, we would have the look nailed down already and everything will be a breeze!

The makeup will last all day without needing any touch ups excepted lips (due to eating/drinking etc). As a professional makeup artist, I am able to apply and set your makeup to ensure it looks as beautiful in the first hour as it would up to the 8th hour.
I only use the best products that I personally have had experiences with myself to ensure its performance is up to quality. Main brands that I use in my kit are Charlotte Tilbury, Estée Lauder, Tom Ford, MAC, Clarins, Makeup Forever, Laura Mercier, NARS, Bobbi Brown, Hourglass, Dior, Kiko, Anastasia Beverly Hills, etc. Other brands and products are always added throughout time as well.

In my opinion, individual false eyelashes complete a full makeup look. It is the finishing touch that adds that extra glam and sparkle to any look, whether it be natural or dramatic. If you wear lash extensions, you may opt out of having additional false lashes applied.

The event makeup duration is approximately 2 hours. The hairstyle takes approximately 30 min.

For the bridal look I would recommend booking your makeup artist as soon as you get engaged! LOL! Or as soon as possible. Wedding planning can sometimes be a nightmare (or so I've been told by previous brides), so since, in my opinion, getting makeup and hair services seems to be the easiest part of planning a wedding, I'd recommend booking that out of the way, and hopefully that will ease some stress.
Yes! I travel to you for the event, this makes it more convenient for you, and we will be in the comfort of your own home or location for the event. The cost of travel will vary depending on location. No travel fees apply to Galway City.
